Website design
It is the overall appearance of your website that gives the first impression about you and your company. We have an eye for extreme detail, and design a website that not only looks great, but also fits in with your company's marketing strategies.
Our web authoring experience dates back all the way to the days when the World Wide Web as we know it now, was in its infancy stages. The early 1990s. A lot has changed since, yet we have kept a close eye on advances in technology at all times.
Web Standards
We take strong notice of coding specifications and accesssibility guidelines proposed by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). By abiding these specifications, recommendations and guidelines, we are able to deliver a website that is accessible to a larger audience, including the visually impaired and users of web enabled devices other than desktop computers.
For those who want to know more about website accessibility, a valuable resource is the Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI) section of the W3C website.
Cascading Style Sheets (CSS)
Extensive use of style sheets makes a website more accessible, and lowers filesizes as there is no need for HTML elements related to formatting. Presentation of the documents resides in one (or perhaps more) external style sheet, that only needs to be downloaded once.
Another great advantage of using an external style sheet, is the ability to make site wide changes with regard to appearance, just by editing a single style sheet.
